I’d say the likelihood is 50/50 really at this point. I enjoyed having to spend countless hours grinding because they were after all Asian MMORPGs and for some insane reason that completely escapes my ability to comprehend, Asian’s have a weird obsession with prioritizing grinding over any other form of substance in their games, causing players to grind and grind and grind without end until they ultimately. I enjoyed the large animated worlds they were always filled with. I enjoyed the little chibi graphical style they always had. by today’s gamers’ standards they’re nothing great, especially in comparison to this generation’s games, but nevertheless I enjoyed every single second of them.
Looking back at them without the nostalgia-goggles I can see that by today’s standards. My horse, who I often referred to as “The Stallion” loved being stroked, alright? Don’t get all weird! Installing Vanilla WoW The original World of Warcraft login screen. At the moment of writing this they’re both running the World of Warcraft game version 1.12.1. There are no major technical differences between the 2, they’re both professional and as Blizzard like as you can get. The bigger of the 2 is Nostalrius, with about 3-6k people online at a time, while Kronos I believe around 2-3k. They are both stable private servers and already with a large population. Nostalrius launched in February, and Kronos in March. There are now 2 new private servers up and running.
‘ Vanilla’ as in the original state of the game, before any expansions came along. In the last couple months there’s been an increase in popularity for vanilla World of Warcraft servers.
